Pamela West is a Professor of History at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama and holds a Masters in History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She lives with her husband of eighteen years, Darrin, and her two beautiful children: Samuel, twelve and Sophia, seven.
She’s an emerging writer who has published fiction in Quad: a journal of art and literature, Enigma, Beginnings Magazine, and Down in the Dirt.
While Pam’s passion is history, and she loves to read anything by Joseph Ellis and David McCullough, she obviously finds time for fiction. Some of her favorite writers include: Flannery O’Conner, William Faulkner, Bobby Ann Mason and Jill Mccorkle.
