Kirtland Snyder

Kirtland Snyder has published two chapbooks of poetry — Winter Light and Soldiers of Fortune (a collaboration with the American painter, Leon Golub) — both from Innerer Klang Press, and his booklength manuscript, House of Earth, was a finalist in the 2001 Paris Review Poetry Prize competition. Snyder has written two novels, The Wolf Moon, and The Man Who Had Two Hearts, which took Third Prize in the 2002 Mayhaven Awards for Fiction. His first CD, "Walking with Thoreau," was released in fall 2003. He has also written a travel memoir, Ah, Mykonos; a memoir of his conversion to Judaism, Diary of a Conversion; and stories and essays.
