Sandra Cohen Margulius completed her M.A. in Creative Writing in December 2001 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she was inspired by her teachers, poets Susan Firer and William Harrold. Her poems have appeared in a variety of magazines and journals, including RUNES; Cream City Review; Radiance; Hodge Podge Poetry;Women Writing; Buffalo Bones; Laughing Boy; and Sparkle, Sizzle, Hiss; and her poem “Aunt Betty” appears in the revised, second edition of Charles Fishman’s anthology, Blood to Remember: American Poets on the Holocaust (Time Being Books, 2007). Margulius is married, the mother of three grown children, grandmother of Eli and Jonah, and continues to live and write in Bayside, Wisconsin.
