`Now a resident of Westchester County, New York I grew up in Brooklyn and worked as a high school librarian there for many years. My husband and I summer in a lakeside cottage in Maine where I watch the trees grow and learn about the natural world (a sharp contrast for this `city girl'). Books and travel have been my passion and I have always sought to see the places I have read about. Writing has become my newer passion, fulfilling a need to remember, express and ponder on the world I have known. Now, as a retiree, I find myself dipping into the past, reflecting and writing of the many parts of my life that have shaped who I am: a reader, a hiker, a traveler, a swimmer, a volunteer, a theater-goer and one who is determined to do it all before it is too late.' |
